Create Your Signature Scent: A Fragrance Workshop

Join me for a unique, hands-on fragrance workshop in my intimate Portland studio, where you'll have the chance to blend your own custom perfume oil rollerball OR soy wax scented candle. Over the course of two inspiring hours, you’ll explore the world of scent, learning about the art of fragrance blending while crafting a scent that speaks to you.

This workshop is perfect for anyone with an interest in scent and whether you're a complete beginner or a fragrance enthusiast looking to deepen your knowledge. Together, we’ll dive into the basics of fragrance families, notes, and composition, and I'll guide you through the process of selecting and blending your own unique combination of essential oils, fragrance oils and perfume accords.

What’s Included:
- A brief introduction to the art of fragrance blending, including the key elements of top, middle, and base notes.
- A guided exploration of various scents, allowing you to discover the perfect combination for your personal rollerball perfume or scented candle.
- The opportunity to blend and create your very own custom perfume or candle, tailored to your scent preferences.
- A beautiful 10ml rollerball bottle to take home with your creation, so you can carry your signature fragrance with you wherever you go. If you select candle, they will be ready to pick up or ship within 48 hours. We will trim the wick, ensure a clean and tidy vessel and can ship it to you for free.

-Refreshments (coffee, tea, water), you may bring your own cake or snacks, no alcohol please.

Space is limited to ensure an intimate, hands-on experience, so be sure to reserve your spot today. We can accommodate up to 4 guests per time slot ($90 is the price for one person, please select up to 4 guests per booking). We cannot accommodate same-day bookings, please contact us if you are looking for a workshop within a 5 day time-frame so we may prepare for your best possible experience. We've partnered with several unique and inspiring maker spaces here in Portland that can accommodate larger parties. They also have uniquely curated retail sections that your guests can shop during your gathering. Click their links below to get a feel for the spaces and contact us to get your event scheduled!

Makerspace Sellwood is a beautifully curated retail and workshop space in cozy Sellwood. Accommodates up to 12 guests for a seated workshop. Minimum rental is 2 hours and food and drink may be brought in. 

While on Earth is a store for creativity, inspiration and hands-on workshops located in the Kerns neighborhood. Can comfortably seat up to 15 guests in their upstairs loft. Wine available for purchase by the glass or bottle. Minimum rental is 2 hours. 

MakeWith Hardware & Learning Center is a queer-owned learning center dedicated to building resilience skills in Portland and beyond. We provide beginner-friendly workshops on home maintenance, repair, emergency preparedness, and other self-sufficiency skills. MakeWith aims to increase our collective capabilities to adapt to shifting environmental and economic circumstances especially for women, queer/trans and BIPOC learners. Minimum rental is 2 hours and can accommodate up to 30.

In case of schedule change/cancellation:

Please email us at boroughhome@gmail.com if you need to cancel within one week of your scheduled appointment for a full refund. Additionally, we may reschedule your workshop within 30 days at no additional charge due to inclement weather or other circumstances. There are no refunds for no-shows and day-of cancellations.
